Abstract:The airborne radio communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) system is an important component of the civil aircraft avionics system. Test procedure is an important technical document in the CNS system verification process, and it is also the basis and foundation for conducting testing and verification work. How to reduce the time of creating and testing the test procedures, and save valuable time resources for testing and verification activities is one of the key issues to consider in the CNS system verification process. Various factors that affect the time of creating and testing the test procedures are analyzed. Targeting at enhancing the similarity of test procedures for different CNS functions, through in-depth analysis of CNS functional integrated features, an integrated test case and procedure development method for CNS systems is proposed. Based on actual engineering data, a comparative analysis is conducted between integrated development method and conventional development method. The results indicate that the integrated development method can effectively reduce the time of creating and testing the test procedures, thus improve verification efficiency, which has a reference significance for the testing and verification of other avionics systems.
