Abstract:Limited by the applied conditions and environments, aeronautical radar absorbing materials (RAMs) need a higher temperature request. Because of narrow absorbing frequency, poor properties of radar absorption at lower frequency and anti-oxidation, the applications of traditional high temperature RAMs are limited. In this paper, some new high-temperature RAMs, such as ZnO and its composites, Ti3SiC2 and its composites, were reviewed in detail. Problems faced with high-temperature RAMs were summarized and the future developments of high-temperature RAMs were prospected.
