    Abstract:

    Aircraft engine extended operations(Extended Operations, abbreviated to ETOPS)eligibility is the basis for aircraft extended operations. With the purpose of guiding domestic aircraft engine ETOPS type design and compliance verification, this article studies the formation process of the ETOPS regulation, and design and test requirement for aircraft engine early ETOPS eligibility, and analyzes the connotation and relevance between ETOPS airworthiness of aircraft and engine. An aircraft engine ETOPS type design and compliance verification idea is proposed. It can be a reference for early ETOPS type design and compliance verification for domestic civil aircraft engine.
